Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

ID Local (“ID Local”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, disclosed, and protected when you use the ID Local mobile application, the ID Local website, and related services.

ID Local is operated by ID Elite Dev Inc..

1. About ID Local

ID Local is a professional real estate tool designed primarily for real estate professionals. It allows authorized users to generate property and neighbourhood information reports for clients.

The service may use property information, location information, publicly available information, third-party data services, and automated technologies to prepare these reports.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use ID Local, we may collect or process the following information:

Broker account information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Account and authentication information
  • Information associated with your ID Local broker account

Passwords used to sign in are used for authentication purposes and are not displayed to other users.

Client information entered by a broker

When a broker prepares a report, the broker may provide:

  • Client first name
  • Client last name
  • Client email address
  • Consent information related to report delivery and follow-up communication

Brokers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authorization or consent to provide client information to ID Local and to request delivery of a report to the client.

Property information

To generate a report, ID Local may process information such as:

  • Property address
  • City or municipality
  • Neighbourhood or local area
  • Geographic coordinates associated with the property
  • Nearby services, amenities, transportation, schools, parks, businesses, and other local information

Device location

ID Local may request access to your device location when you choose the Use my location feature.

Location access is optional. You can instead enter a property address manually. ID Local does not require continuous background location tracking for the normal operation of the application.

Location information obtained through this feature is used to determine or assist with identifying the property address and generating the requested report.

Technical information

We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, including information such as device or platform type, request information, error information, security information, and server logs.

3. How We Use Information

Information processed by ID Local may be used to:

  • Authenticate broker accounts
  • Provide access to ID Local services
  • Generate property and neighbourhood reports
  • Email requested reports to clients and brokers
  • Maintain report history
  • Allow existing reports to be resent
  • Help brokers locate previous clients
  • Process consent preferences associated with a report request
  • Provide location-based functionality requested by the user
  • Maintain, protect, troubleshoot, and improve ID Local
  • Prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use of the service
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

4. Report Delivery and Client Information

A broker may ask ID Local to send a generated report directly to a client’s email address. The client’s name and email address are therefore processed for the purpose of generating and delivering the requested report.

ID Local distinguishes between permission to deliver a requested report and any optional permission for subsequent communication.

Providing an email address for delivery of a requested report does not by itself constitute consent to unrelated marketing communications.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

ID Local relies on third-party technology and service providers to provide certain features of the service.

These providers may include services used for:

  • Mapping, geocoding, places, and geographic information
  • Property and neighbourhood data processing
  • Artificial intelligence-assisted report generation
  • Web hosting and database services
  • Email delivery
  • Application infrastructure and security

For example, ID Local currently uses certain Google Maps Platform services to help identify locations and provide geographic and nearby-place information.

ID Local may also use artificial intelligence services to assist in generating descriptive neighbourhood or community information. Only information reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality is transmitted to service providers.

Third-party providers process information according to their own applicable terms, privacy policies, and contractual obligations.

6. Sale and Advertising Use of Personal Information

ID Local does not sell personal information provided through the application.

Client information submitted for report generation is not provided to third-party advertisers for behavioural advertising.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures may include encrypted HTTPS communications, authenticated access, restricted server access, account controls, and other security measures appropriate to the nature of the information being processed.

No Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users are also responsible for protecting their account credentials and for notifying us if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

8. Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the ID Local service, maintain legitimate business and transaction records, meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain the security and integrity of the service.

Report records and information associated with a broker account may be retained while the account remains active and for an appropriate period afterward where required for legitimate operational, legal, or compliance purposes.

When information is no longer required, it may be securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized, subject to applicable legal requirements.

9. Account and Personal Information Deletion

Users may request deletion of their ID Local account and associated personal information by contacting:

reports@idlocal.app

Please use the subject line “ID Local Account Deletion Request” and contact us using the email address associated with your account whenever possible.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request.

Following a valid deletion request, personal information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law, or information must temporarily be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.

10. Access and Correction

You may request access to personal information that ID Local holds about you or request correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Requests may be sent to:

reports@idlocal.app

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before responding. Certain legal exceptions may apply.

11. Your Choices and Permissions

You may control certain information directly through your device or the application.

For example:

  • You may decline location permission and enter an address manually.
  • You may change or remove an address before generating a report.
  • You may choose the language of a report.
  • You may choose whether optional client follow-up consent is provided.
  • You may sign out of your ID Local account.

Device permissions can also be reviewed or changed through your Android or iOS device settings.

12. Information Provided by Real Estate Professionals

Brokers and other professionals using ID Local are responsible for information they submit regarding their clients.

Users should only provide personal information that they are authorized to provide and should use that information only for legitimate purposes associated with the requested service.

13. Automated and AI-Generated Information

Certain ID Local reports may contain information created or summarized with the assistance of automated systems or artificial intelligence.

These technologies are used to organize and present neighbourhood, municipal, demographic, housing, and related information. Automated content is intended for informational purposes and should not be treated as a guarantee regarding a property, neighbourhood, investment, financial result, or future condition.

14. Children’s Privacy

ID Local is a professional real estate service and is not designed or directed toward children.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the ID Local broker application.

15. International Processing

Some service providers used by ID Local may process or store information outside the province or country in which a user resides.

When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of that jurisdiction.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to ID Local, our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or service providers.

When material changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
